WHO WE ARE
Daytona Beach Drive In Christian Church is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a Protestant denomination where each congregation makes its own decisions. Because we are self-governed, we have the freedom to shape our own mission, ministry, and values in ways that reflect our calling and the needs of our community.

We welcome people from all walks of life to worship, grow in faith, and share God’s love wherever we go.
OUR MINISTRY
Because our ministry is unique, we welcome people from many Christian traditions – and those with no faith background at all.
We hold to the core practices of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ): baptism of believers by immersion, weekly sharing of The Lord’s Supper where all who follow Jesus are invited to participate, the “Priesthood of all believers,” and a commitment to live out the vision of one of our early founders who said, “We are Christians only, but not the only Christians.”
OUR FAITH BASICS
Our goal as a congregation is to agree on the basics of our faith –
- God is our Creator and ultimate Judge,
- Jesus shows us God’s love to the world,
- The Holy Spirit guides our daily lives and our walk with Christ and one another,
- The Church is a visible sign of Christ’s body at work in the world,
- The Bible is our source for learning and discerning God’s truth,
- As believers, we bear witness to this truth and commit to growing in love and serving our neighbors and the world.
Together, we continue seeking what it means to follow Jesus, to love our neighbors, and to share the Good News of the gospel.
