Dear Friends of The Drive In Christian Church,
Whenever and wherever disasters strike, people of God want to respond. In the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we are blessed to have a very effective and compassionate avenue through which we can offer our care and concern. Week of Compassion is the expression of our church that helps people and communities recover following such devastation as we have seen in Oklahoma this week and earlier this month in North Texas. On Sunday, May 26 we will receive a Special Offering which will be sent to Week of Compassion designated for this response. If you would like to donate sooner, you can go to www.weekofcompassion.org and click on the banner at the top of the page that says "Donate Now to Oklahoma and North Texas Tornado Relief." Make sure you type in Daytona Beach Drive In Christian Church where it says "Congregation."
